To begin, let me assure you that this is NOT a FAQ section on SEO made mostly of techniques that worked well in 2003 by some people who really tried not apply in 2009. This tutorial contains some basic information about SEO and some more advanced tips and tricks that are also fairly obvious, but that does not make them any less important, and seems to be its obvious what makes people think they do not work.
This tutorial on SEO is not like "the-best-way-of-a-google-trick. " Here we present only recommendations and legitimate methods, whitehat and working. Read on!

One of the buzzwords of the last 10 years in internet marketing is SEO. Everyone talks about SEO, and try to apply it with varying degrees of success. If you have experience in this area can skip the first chapters, but read on to learn the basics.
1.1. What is SEO
The term "SEO" stands for "Search Engine Optimization (Search Engine Optimization). But not about search engine optimization. It's about optimizing websites for search engines. But why do you need someone to optimize a web site? To answer this question we need to understand what a search engine.
Search engines as a way to search the web, appeared in the mid 90's. Scoured web sites and index them in their own databases by marking them as having one or another keyword in its content. Then, when someone did a search in the search box that search, I looked quickly in their database and found that indexed pages corresponding to that query.
So, the more keywords in a query have a website, Web positioning got better. We do not know who was the first person who realized that he could make some changes in the pages of your website to make it appear higher in the ranking, but it was a true genius!
So, SEO is something that helps your site to appear higher in search engine rankings. There are various ways and methods of SEO, some of them are legitimate, while others are restricted and techniques considered "blackhat". For the search engines do not like the blackhat SEO and the effect of its use could be disastrous for your website. We'll cover this in more detail in this FAQ about SEO.
